LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The city is packed with tourists and some downtown businesses are reporting huge crowds.
The Thursday before Derby has become a big day as the track has tried to grow the attendance along with the Oaks on Friday.
Thursday is the day for people to have lunch on Millionaire's Row with celebs like country singer J.D. Shelburne and Louisville native Gunnar Deatherage from Project Runway.
This year, more than 600 people attended including actor Emilio Estevez who said he's a huge racing fan but this is his first time at the Kentucky Derby.
