LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – There’s been some progress after a WHAS11 story the other night about a growing problem along Frankfort Avenue and through the Crescent Hill Neighborhood.

Overgrown grass by the train tracks has been cut now. CSX Transport owns the tracks and the surrounding property. That property had always been maintained by the rail company, but CSX recently told the Crescent Hill Community Council they will no longer be cutting the grass.

Residents offered to do it but were told they would be trespassing. Since the WHAS11 story aired, the grass has been cut but there is no word on who cut the grass.
