Officer Ellis' family honored at Reds game

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Bardstown police officer, Jason Ellis, and his family were honored at the Cincinnati Reds game Tuesday night.

Ellis was killed last month during an ambush.

He left behind a wife and two sons.

This is video of his oldest son throwing out the first pitch.

The family was also honorary captains.

Tonight was police officer appreciation day with the Reds.
