(WHAS11) -- New retail shops are coming to downtown Louisville. Six new businesses will move in between the Seelbach Hotel and the Brown Hotel.
It comes after a retail market student commissioned last year by the Louisville Downtown Development Corporation found downtown Louisville could support more retailers.
The new businesses include a truffle ship, jewelry stores, a men's clothing store and a custom invitation and gift shop.
Construction is set to begin in January and the businesses will open in the spring.
