(WHAS11)-To celebrate two hundred years as a city, New Albany is working on some new art to be displayed about the city.

The bicentennial celebration is still three years away, but many of the pieces will be on display soon.

All of them focus on the history of the city including one to be on display at the Bank Street Brew House in New Albany.

Sculptor Leticia Bajuyo has been working on her piece since November. They should have it done by April 18th.

It focuses on New Albany’s brewing history that dates back to 18-30.

“From what I've seen of the design so far, I think the sculpture really does reflect that whole ethos. I mean, I can't really explain why, but I look at what Leticia's gonna be doing and it strikes me as being very reflective of what we're all trying to do here,” Roger Baylor, Co-Owner, New Albanian Brewing Company.
