(WHAS11) -- A military wife at Fort Campbell is using her body to help save lives. Ashley Wise and hundreds of other women are going topless on Facebook to bring attention to post-traumatic stress disorder
Wise says she started the "Battling Bare" campaign out of desperation. She said she was getting no help for her husband's PTSD at Fort Campbell so she decided to do something that she hoped would get some attention.
Wise took off her shirt, wrote a pledge on her back, and took a photo wearing her husband's hat and holding his gun.
Wise says her mission is to break the stigma of PTSD and to get people to stop ignoring the problem.
The Battling Bare Facebook page already has more than 34,000 likes and several hundred photos.
