(WHAS11) -- On Sept. 11, 11 years ago, at this hour, we were reeling from the violent attacks against our country.
But in the hours and days that came after Sept. 11, 200, our mourning country began doing what we do so wonderfully. We began helping one another.
Melissa Swan had the privilege of being in New York City, talking to those who had witnessed the tragedy but refused to let it keep them from finding some way to help others.
