ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky. (AP) -- Two people have been charged with kidnapping and murder after police say they found a body in the backseat of a car in Hardin County.

The victim was identified as Saul Alvarado Flores, 47, of Munfordville, Ky.

According to police, once Flores was removed from the vehicle, the Hardin County Coroner said it appeared he had suffered a single gun shot wound to the head.

Officials said two suspects were identified, located and interviewed.

Octavio Fernandez Correa, 24 of Munfordville and Tiffany Nicole Hodges, 31 of Munfordville are facing multiple charges for the crime.

Police said Correa kidnapped Flores from a home in Munfordville and drove to Glendale in Flores' car. Police say Hodges said she helped Correa bind Flores and wrap him in a blanket and also told police she saw Correa shoot Flores in the head.

Correa was charged with murder, kidnapping, and theft by unlawful taking.

Hodges was charged with complicity to murder, complicity to kidnapping, and complicity to theft by unlawful taking.

Correa and Hodges are being held at the Hardin County Detention Center in lieu of a $1 million cash bond.

Police said Hodges and Correa may still face additional charges.
