(WHAS11) - A shootout in a Hardin County mobile home park left one man dead while another says he was defending himself.
The shooting happened Wednesday night near Dixie Highway in Radcliff.
A 30-year-old man was killed during the exchange of gunfire.
James Robinson, the man who fired the deadly shot, told WHAS11’s Renee Murphy that the dispute centered around the deceased’s son.
Robinson says that Johnny Good's son broke into his house and an argument between two fathers turned into a deadly dispute.
It’s the first fatal killing Radcliff has seen in three years.
30-year-old Johnny Good was found lying in the intersection of Dixie Highway and Lincoln Trail in Radcliff.
But Radcliff police say he was actually shot in a mobile home park about a half mile away.
Robinson told WHAS11 News that Good fired ten shots at him and he was defending himself.
We've learned that Good was a convicted felon out of Virginia and Kansas.
Robinson tells WHAS11’s Renee Murphy he is an Iraq war veteran.
None of Good’s family could be reached for comment.
