LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- On Sunday, local chefs whipped up tasty food in the name of raising awareness of sustainability and eating locally.

The Cochon 555 Heritage Barbecue featured local celebrity Edward Lee and chefs from restaurants like Harvest, Rye on Market and Proof on Main.

Those that served the tastiest food at the 21C Hotel won money to donate to the charity or farm of their choice.

The team behind Cochon holds events like this one in 16 other major cities and has donated more than half a million dollars to local farmers across America.
