Woodford Reserve Five Flavor Snack Mix
3 cups Corn Chex©
2 cups Wheat Chex©
3 cups mini pretzels (salted)
1 cup pecan halves
1/3 cup unsalted butter
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons 5-spice powder
¼ teaspoon salt
¾ cup dried cranberries
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Spray a baking sheet with non-stick spray.
Mix corn chex, wheat chex, pretzels and pecans in large bowl. Set aside.
2. Melt butter in small saucepan along with brown sugar, and seasonings. Bring to a simmer and remove from heat.
Pour over dry cereal mix and stir well to coat. Pour onto baking sheets and spread evenly.
3. Bake for 15 minutes. Stir well. Add dried cranberries and stir well to combine. Bake another 5 minutes. Cool to
room temperature. Add chocolate and mix again.
4. Store in airtight container.
Yield: 1 pound 12 ounces of mix
