LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- It may be the last beacon of hope for teenagers in our area struggling with addiction.
Seven Counties and the Kentucky Department of Behavioral Health have agreed to keep the Lighthouse open for 90 more days.
It's the only residential drug and alcohol treatment center for boys and girls in Kentucky. But it's sinking in debt by a half a million dollars. The center needs $250,000 to remain open for another year.
Seven Counties is looking for potential private donors.
