LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS 11)-- Get ready to spend more money each month on both your electric and your gas bill.
Electric and gas rates are going up for LG&E customers after the utility reached an agreement on raising at a smaller amount than first expected.
Bills are expected to increase about $4.31 a month for electric and $3.53 a month for natural gas.
The deal must still be approved by the Kentucky Public Service Commission, but you have a chance to sound off about the increase before that happens.
You can weigh in at a public meeting Tuesday at Louisville’s Male High School on Preston Highway. The meeting is set to begin at 5:30 p.m.
WHAS 11's Johnny Archer has more details in video above.
