LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Children from the Parkland Boys and Girls Club learned about healthy eating, exercise and the science behind both on Monday.

The Kentucky Science Center’s interactive mobile exhibit on the body will be headed to various Boys and Girls Club locations throughout the city.

“We’re here to inspire kids to learn a little bit of science, have a little bit of fun and then hopefully they’ll be able to do science on their own outside the Boys and Girls Clubs,” Mike Sekula of the Louisville Science Center said.

Children at Parkland learned about the science behind the perfect basketball shot and they also learned how smoking affects the lungs.
