CARROLL COUNTY, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Just over two hours ago Kentucky State Police released the cause of a deadly school bus crash that killed two young students who were a part of a head start program.
Investigators say it was operator error on the part of the bus driver.
That crash happened on Boone Road during October 2012 in Carroll County, Ky. on a very windy day.
State troopers say the driver Laura Reed over-corrected, lost control slammed on the brakes and veered off the road.
The bus hit a tree and two toddlers were killed.
