SCOTT COUNTY, Ind. (WHAS11) -- The jury deliberated for five hours and found Robert Petty guilty of voluntary manslaughter for killing his ex-wife Nina Keown.
Nina Keown's mother said it was tough to watch Petty during the trial.
"He never showed emotion. Even when they showed the pictures of her body on the hillside. Never showed emotion," Nina's mother said.
Keown disappeared in August of 2010. Petty told police they got into a fight over a phone call on the way to a music festival.
Weeks later Petty lead detectives to a wooded area in Clark County where Keown's body was found.
