LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A west Louisville Thanksgiving day tradition is still going strong. It's the Juice Bowl at Shawnee Park, a tradition since the 1950's.
The games started at 10 a.m. after a parade. Eight teams competed in four different games, including a powder puff game between two all-girl teams.
A player from the Derby City Thunder organized a food drive for Christmas baskets and encouraged everyone to bring non-perishable foods.
