LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- “War Horse” has arrived in Louisville and is on stage at The Kentucky Center.
The play is a story of friendship and courage set during World War I.
One of the actors in the play is a Kentucky native. Spiff Wiegand fills the role of the song man in the show. Wiegand said he's happy to be home and be a part of the award winning play.
The first performance is at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, just in time to help celebrate the Kentucky Center's 30th anniversary. Performances run through Nov. 24.
