INDIANAPOLIS (WHAS11) -- The Indiana House overwhelmingly said yes to a bill that would allow Amazon.com and other online retailers collect sales tax on purchases starting the summer of 2013.
Indiana’s governor just dedicated a huge new Amazon Fullfillment Center in Jeffersonville.
The bill negates an agreement between Amazon and former governor Mitch Daniels that gave the company until 2014. The bill now goes to the Indiana senate for consideration.
