JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. (WHAS11) -- Indiana Governor Mike Pence visited Jeffersonville, Ind. on
Friday, May 16, to talk about healthcare at Clark Memorial Hospital.

He's unveiling his new plan to expand the healthy Indiana initiative which would provide health insurance for low-income Hoosiers.

It's meant to be an option for Hoosiers, not a mandate, but a chance for healthcare coverage when there aren't other options.

The governor says this is all consumer driven to help people like Kim Lind.
