CORYDON, Ind. (WHAS11) -- Police in Harrison County Indiana are asking for the public's help identifying a suspect wanted for abducting a woman at gunpoint.

Police said Thursday afternoon a woman was stopped along the side of a road near Lebanon Junction in Bullitt County, Ky. when a man approached her and forced her into her car at gunpoint. The suspect then had the woman drive him across the state line in to Harrison County, Ind. where he later fled into a wooded area near Elizabeth, Ind.

Police said the suspect was wearing a camouflage military-style jacket with a patch missing above the left breast pocket.
