(WHAS 11)--In 5-years a married couple could be heading to mars!
A group of space entrepreneurs says it wants to mount the first ever flight to mars by sending a man and a woman zipping past the red planet and back to earth over the course of 16 months.
The group's goal is to make it happen by 2018 decades earlier than NASA thought was possible.
The team says the Inspiration Mars project would be a tough, dangerous, even lonely trip with the travelers cooped up in a space capsule half the size of a mobile home.
NASA believe the recruits should be married.
