General Motors under investigation over recall

Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - General Motors submittd more than 200,000 pages of documents to Federal officials about its ignition switch recall.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is investigating why the company took ten years to do a recall that now covers 2.6 million vehicles.

GM says it linked 13 deaths to the defect, but some believe the number may actually be higher.
