5 Tips for Finding Your Perfect Pink

The official color of the Kentucky Oaks is pink in honor of the Oaks’ official flower, the stargazer lily. If you are interested in participating in the 5th annual pink out this Friday, below are a few tips for finding your perfect shade of pink.

1.       If you have a lighter complexion, go with a light to medium shade pink.

2.       If you have a darker complexion, go with a medium to deeper shade of pink.

3.       If you have a golden or warm complexion, try a raspberry or coral pink.

4.       Not sure you are a “pink person”? Wear a small amount in a hat, accessory or print.

5.       Avoid wearing pink from head to toe.
