Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11)- Friends and family came together Tuesday to remember the man shot to death playing kickball last year.

It has been exactly one year since Antonio Anderson was killed by a stray bullet at Shawnee Park.

His family says he was an innocent victim.

Tuesday night Anderson's friends and family gathered at Shawnee Park to pray, and share memories of his life.

"I never could have imagined carrying a child for nine months and not being a part of him. But these 365 days have been a long, trying year for me and painful, but his spirit is what keeps me alive and keeps me going,” said the mother of the victim Marian Dean.

Three men and a teenager have been arrested in connection with the case.

They have yet to go to trial.
