LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A woman is dead after being hit by a drunk driver heading the wrong way on South Hurstbourne Parkway.
The accident happened about 2 a.m. on Sunday on Hurstbourne Parkway near South Watterson Trail.
Police say 32-year-old Maynor Gonzalez-Munoz was driving a Toyota Camry the wrong way down Hurstbourne Parkway when he hit a Honda Civic head-on.
The driver of the Civic, 23-year-old Ashley Martinez of Louisville, died at the scene.
Munoz was taken to the hospital, then arrested and charged with DUI, murder and possession of cocaine.
