Poll:
Do you agree with the University of Kentucky's decision to drop the annual basketball game at Freedom Hall from their schedule?

Louisville, KY. (WHAS11) -- It's been a shared tradition between the city of Louisville and the University of Kentucky Wildcats basketball team since 1957: an annual game at Freedom Hall.

At least for next year, UK dropped the game between the Wildcats and one various opponent from its non-conference schedule.

The game was a favorite for Cats fans that couldn't see the team in Lexington.

The Cats and Cards will play their annual rivalry at the Yum Center on Dec. 29.
