LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11)-- Crews in the Highlands have found the pipe that burst causing a large water main break, flooding streets and a nearby park.

Kelley Dearing-Smith, a spokeswoman with the water company, said one of the 48 inch pipes burst, called a 'T' pipe, where several other smaller pipes join together.

Engineers are currently working to figure out how to fix the water main break and crews will work throughout the night to fix the break.

Dearing-Smith said that no customers are without water and the boil water advisory will remain in affect until Friday evening after quality samples are tested.

Roads are expected to remain closed through the weekend while crews repair the broken water main and the streets.
