MOORE, Okla. (WHAS11) -- Now, a very personal update on the tornado that roared through Moore, Okla. Police say 12,000 homes have been destroyed or damaged by Monday’s storm.

The damage estimate now stands at $2 billion.

Craig Olmstead, who is the son of the late WHAS reporter Chuck Olmstead, is in the middle of the destruction.

Craig operates a satellite truck for several news agencies and is normally behind the camera. But he is stepping in front of the camera on Thursday night, while his brother Charles provides the video and shows us what they found in the wreckage of a bank and a medical center.
