LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Columbia Gulf Transmission’s pipeline system in Adair County has been operating since the 1950s.
According to Columbia Gulf Transmission this pipeline does not run through Louisville. It runs through northern and southeastern Kentucky all the way into the Gulf. It does have feeder lines that break off into the city of Lexington.
The pipeline explosion comes as new pipeline construction, called Bluegrass Pipeline, is planned in 13 Kentucky counties. Does the explosion affect the project's future?
