LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Country music star Gary Allan will perform at a concert for Addie Roberts, after the benefit concert she was promised turned out to be an alleged scam.

Kyle Nunn, a friends of Robert's family is facing theft charges.  He's accused of promising to organize a benefit concert for three-year-old Addie who is battling Leukemia.  Claiming to cover concert expenses, Nunn allegedly accepted $3,000 dollars from Robert's family and $6,000 from the Highlands bar Baxters 942 who agreed to host the event.  However Nunn did not organize a concert and is accused of pocketing the cash.

Radio station Q103.1 heard about the story and collaborated with Baxter's 942 to organize a real concert for Addie.  Thursday morning they announced Gary Allan will perform at Baxter's 942 Tuesday March 25, at 5pm.  All proceeds from the ticket sales will go towards "Addie's Army", the non profit organization set up to help cover the toddler's medical expenses.  Two hundred and fifty tickets will be sold with prices starting at $10.31.

Information on how to purchase tickets will be released Monday.

Baxters 942 is planning an additional benefit concert for Addie.  Local band Cover Me Badd will perform Friday March 7 at 9pm.  The cover charge is $10 cash at the door.  Proceeds Benefit Addie's Army.
