LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Two meetings were held in Louisville with local youth, one meeting for girls and the other with boys.
The director of Safe Neighborhoods and other community leaders were at the meetings that started at 4:30 p.m.
The media were not allowed inside those meetings, for fear the teens wouldn't show up.
The meetings come after that weekend violence and community leaders are hoping they will ease concerns and let the teens be a part of the solution.
A big turnout was expected at both of the meetings and there were hopes to come up with potential solutions for the violence.
