LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – As soon as Louisville beat Rutgers by 14 points, national pundits were forecasting the death of Louisville national championship chances.
They had apparently missed an opportunity to send a strong message.
Coach Charlie Strong seems to be done messing with messages.
The Cards start the season with a 6-0 record for the second straight year. They’re the top scoring defense in the country, yet they were jumped by two teams in the most recent Associated Press poll because of their poor strength of schedule.
The definition of not having control of the greater situation is why Charlie Strong says it’s not longer and never was his main concern.
