CHARLESTOWN, Ind. (WHAS11) -- We're now just eight days away from the 60th WHAS Crusade for Children!

The Crusade is hoping to raise $6 million dollars for its 60th year.

Firefighters from the Charlestown Fire Department are in the middle of a 24 hour roadblock. It’s at the corner of highway 403 and Market Street.

They'll be out until noon Saturday, May 25, to collect your pennies, dollars, anything you'd like to give to the special needs children of Kentucky and Southern Indiana.
