It was the time of the Speak Easys and at the height of the Cotton Club's popularity. This is a compelling story of how a group of African American artists during the Harlem Renaissance and the depression struggled to make a life for themselves as artists.
Student actor Jacqueline Thompson gives a taste of what we can expect with an impromptu A Capella version, it's definitely worth a listen.
