LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11)-- Members of the Bereans for Fairness Movement recommended a fairness ordinance to the city council tonight that would prohibit discrimination in employment, housing and public accommodations for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender citizens.

The Berea city council will form a committee to discuss the possible ordinance.

If adopted, the ordinance would make Berea the sixth Kentucky city to extend discrimination protections to the LGBT community.
