LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A benefit is planned this weekend for a Louisville native who was injured in the Boston Marathon bombings.
26-year-old Rebekah Gregory was visiting Boston with her boyfriend to cheer on his mother in the marathon.
She and her son were less than 10 feet away from the first bomb when it went off.
Rebekah was severely injured and continues to recover.
A fundraiser is set for Saturday afternoon at Brownies in Saint Matthews.
It features live music and a silent auction.
