LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The iPads have gone to the apes at the Louisville Zoo. It is part of a program called "Apps for Apes."
The program is a collaborative effort coordinated by the Orangutan Outreach. The zoo's four orangutans named Amber, Bella, Segundo and Teak have all been working with the iPad apps that play drums and the xylophone.
The Louisville Zoo is one of only 13 zoos worldwide that are participating in the "Apps for Apes" program.
