(WHAS11) -- The identity of one of the marines killed in a shooting at the Marine Corps Base in Quantico, Va. on Thursday night has been released.

Marine Corps officials say Sgt. Euse-Bio Lopez was the gunman. He was a 25-year-old tactics instructor at the base and specialized as a machine gunner. He was a decorated serviceman who allegedly shot two people before turning the gun on himself.

The victims were a 23-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman who served as a field radio operator and warehouse clerk. They were also decorated servicemen.

The shooting is still under investigation.
