(WHAS11) -- A battle over whether to allow rock quarry mining at the county line between Jefferson and Bullitt counties will come to a head on Monday when the Hillview City Council will have the final vote.
Residents are planning to gather outside before the vote to voice their opposition to the Rogers Group/Bullitt County Stone proposal to expand rock quarry mining at the 301-acre Bates Farm site along Floyds Fork Creek.
