PHOENIX – A Harlem Globetrotter now holds the world record for the longest basketball shot.

Corey "Thunder" Law hit the hoop from 109-feet, nine inches, beating the previous record by more than five feet.

Law and two other Globetrotters took turns for more than an hour before he finally made the shot.

It was part of the Guinness World Record Day, when thousands of people try to break world records.
