LOUISVILLE, Ky. (News Release) - The Clifton Center, located at 2117 Payne Street, will host the 21st annual Taste of Frankfort Avenue, the organization's biggest fundraiser, on Sunday, June 23rd from 5:00pm-8:00pm.
The event will feature food tastings from more than twenty of Frankfort Avenue's finest restaurants set up inside the historic building, as well as an outdoor tent housing a cash bar, a stage with live music, and a silent auction. Advanced tickets are on sale now for $50, and tickets will increase to $60 on the day of the event. Friends of the Clifton Center members receive an additional $5 discount on all tickets. For the first time, the event will include an "After Taste" beginning at 7:30pm in the tent where guests can enjoy a cash bar and live music. The After Taste will be open to the public for a suggested $5 donation to the Clifton Center's Setting the Stage campaign.

The 2013 Taste of Frankfort Avenue planning committee is being led by Randy Blevins, Chair. In addition to the support from the restaurants, the Taste of Frankfort Avenue is sponsored by MINI of Louisville, Brown-Forman, D.D. Williamson, Bluegrass Brewing Company, Louisville Magazine, Louisville Water Company, WFPK, Louisville Metro Councilwoman Tina Ward-Pugh, and LEO Weekly.
The Kentucky Arts Council, the state arts agency, provides operating support to the Clifton Center with state tax dollars and federal funding from the National Endowment for the Arts.
