LOUISVILLE, Ky.—The Unversity of Louisville has received a limited supply of tickets for its appearance in the 2007 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament first/second round site in Lexington, Ky.

Season ticket holders who submitted NCAA post-season ticket request forms and were selected in the lottery will be contacted by an athletics department representative by phone no later than Monday evening.  Those tickets will be available for pickup at the Brown and Williamson Club, located on the third floor of Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium, on Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. or Wednesday from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m.

U of L students who entered the ticket lottery will be notified by phone by Monday evening and may pick up the tickets at the same location and times.

With only a limited number of tickets available within U of L’s allotment, the best way to purchase tickets is through Ticketmaster.  Cardinal fans may purchase tickets online for $150 plus service fees ($162) by visiting www.ticketmaster.com online, calling (502) 361-3100 or by visiting any Ticketmaster Ticket Center, including statewide Kroger locations.

The No. 6 seeded Cardinals will face No. 11 seed Stanford in the NCAA Tournament first round on Thursday, March 15 at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Ky.  Game times will be announced later.  No travel packages have been arranged due to the close proximity of the game.  Should the Cardinals advance to San Antonio, Texas, travel packages would be available through Champion Sports Tours by calling 206-5255, toll free at 866-995-7444, or online at www.championsportstours.com
