LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Infielder Josh Richmond joins pitchers Joe Devine and Bob Revesz to complete the University of Louisville baseball's fall 2006 recruiting class. Each member of the trio has signed letters of intent to join the Cards in the fall.

The three signees join outfielders Drew Haynes, Nate Holland and Stewart Ijames, infielders John Dao, Phil Wunderlich, Grason Wiggins and Tyler Mikits and pitchers Dean Kiekhefer, Neil Holland, Gabriel Shaw, Jon Clarence and Thomas Royse as part of the 2006-07 early signing period. They will be on campus this fall and eligible to compete in the spring of 2008.

Joe Devine RHP Owensboro,Ky./Owensboro Catholic HS

Went 5-1 with 31 strikeouts and an 0.90 ERA in 31 innings of work last season helping Catholic to a 24-6 record. He joins fellow signees Neil Holland and Stewart Ijames as well as current Cardinal Justin Marks as products of Owensboro Catholic. Won the "All A" state title in 2005.

Bob Revesz LHP Grove City,Pa./Grove City HS

An imposing lefty who was first team All-Region, posting a 7-3 record on the hill with 84 strikeouts. The 6-4 southpaw is 10-5 with 114 K's in two seasons entering his senior season. Was a member of the 18-and-under World Wood Bat Association*s Fall Championship team that competes in late in October in Jupiter, Fla. Revesz tossed five innings of three-hit baseball and earned a save for the 8-0 Reds in the 80-team tournament.

Josh Richmond MIF Cincinnati, Ohio/Oakhills HS

An All-Conference baseball and football selection for the Highlanders, Richmond hit .434 as a junior with 17 doubles, two triples and four home runs. He drove in 33, stole 11 bases and scored 55 runs, leading his team to a sectional championship. Batted .414 as a sophomore, scoring 40 runs. An All-City wide receiver selection.
