License Plates for all Kentucky Trailers?
(WHAS11) - A Bullitt County RV park was the target of thieves Tuesday night.
Eight trailers were stolen from the park and as WHAS11’s Chuck Olmstead found out, it was an all night ordeal.
Most thieves like to get in and get out so it is rare thieves have the audacity to keep returning to the scene of their crime to steal more. Yet that’s exactly what pulled off Tuesday night in Shepherdsville.
As soon as the folks at the RV Trailer and Sales opened Wednesday morning in Shepherdsville they knew something was missing.
Four flatbed utility trailers, two aluminum motorcycle trailers and two cargo trailers were all gone.
Police say security cameras at an adjoining trucking company captured shots of thieves on tape. Authorities are hoping to enhance the quality and are convinced this was no random job.
The RV company is already planning to install surveillance cameras and additional security.
