Helmets not required for Kentucky motorcycle riders over 21
Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - An accident claimed the life of a motorcyclist who was not wearing a helmet Friday morning.
The motorcyclist has been identified as 24-year-old Tommy Taylor of Crestwood Kentucky.
It happened around 6:00 a.m. on the westbound Watterson Expressway near Taylorsville Road and closed those lanes down for a while.
Taylor was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:02 a.m. He died of multiple blunt force injuries.
Witnesses say Taylor could have been speeding at the time.
