Former U of L football player Jajuan Spillman pleads guilty to several charges

Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - Former University of Louisville football receiver Jajuan Spillman has pleaded guilty to driving under the influence, marijuana possession and carrying a concealed weapon.

Spillman, who was kicked off the team after he was arrested on July 3 rd, was given a one-year suspended prison sentence.

Spillman was released Monday morning and won’t have to serve the year in prison as long as he avoids trouble for the next two years.

Spillman will have to pay a fine of more than $800 dollars.

Spillman’s recent arrest was the second time he had been arrested in 18 months.
