Dispute between neighbors allegedly turns violent, conflict caught on tape
01:04 PM EDT on Monday, March 31, 2008
Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - Residents say a dispute in south Louisville over parking has escalated to the point of death threats and bullets flying through their neighborhood.
One neighbor says the woman who lives two doors down from her pulled a gun on her and her husband and then hit them on the head with it.
Janie Eads says after police took Shekela Brasher to jail for wanton endangerment someone else fired shots at her house.
Eads says she doesn’t know where to turn because it’s difficult to prove anything, even with video.
Shekela Brasher says her neighbors are racist, have been harassing her and are trying to ruin her life because she moved to their block.
The Eads say they filed charges but they were dismissed because of a clerical error at the county attorney’s office.
Police say they are still investigating.
