LMPD officers on paid administrative leave after shooting death of suspect

(WHAS11) - Six LMPD officers who were placed on administrative leave following the shooting death of 40-year-old Kevin Sneed.
Sneed was killed early Monday morning when police say he robbed a Wendy’s on Taylorsville road and then stole a LMPD cruiser driving it into the Ohio River.
Police say Sneed was pointing a gun at them and refused to drop his weapon.
That’s when officers opened fire.
Officer Bill Lee was one of the officers on the scene.
After requesting their personnel files, we discovered that Lee had 6 commendations and 4 disciplines.
Officer Lee was disciplined for warrantless search and conduct unbecoming of an officer.
He was also disciplined for violation of courtesy and causing an accident.
Officers shot and killed Kevin Sneed after he allegedly robbed a Wendy’s early Monday morning and then took off in a police cruiser.
We’ve been checking into the background of the officers involved.
Officer Steven Presley had 32 commendations officer Brad Aubin with seven, and officer Michael Jackson with two commendations.
Those three men had zero disciplines or reprimands.
Officer Robert King had 28 commendations, two written reprimands and one counseling recommendation.
Officer Allan Manganello received seven commendations, two disciplines and one written reprimand.
Officer David Lee had six commendations, three disciplines, and one written reprimand.
