● VIDEO: Suspects arrested
LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- A woman and man are behind bars, accused of robbing banks in Kentucky and southern Indiana.
Metro Police say they are responsible for more than a dozen of robberies across four states
This bank photo shows the woman gun in hand at the Jeffersonville, Ind. Her MO strikingly similar to what she did during an earlier holdup of a Bardstown Road stickup.
Tonight she's been unmasked, identified as 20-year-old Savannah Myers of Indianapolis. She was on parole from a robbery committed when she was just 16. She is also apparently a competitive bodybuilder.
The other suspect is 24-year-old Ronald Palmer. He led another life, too -- he is a bodybuilder who has won championships around the world and guess who else is on his website? You got it -- Savannah Myers
Both were busted last night in greenwood, Indiana outside Indianapolis as Louisville cops linked up with Indy police to find them. The pair was arrested after a brief car and then foot chase.
Myers was a U.S. amateur power lifter who had been competing as recently as March of this year in competitions in Kansas. If cops are right, we know what she's been doing since then.
Both she and palmer are being held at the Johnson County Jail in Indianapolis. No word on when they'll be extradited to Kentucky.
